VACANCY: Trails Manager - Cape West Coast Biosphere - 2 March 2016
The CWCBR is a Non Profit Company that aims to implement sustainable development principles along the West Coast in addition to integrating rapid growth with biodiversity and heritage conservation. The challenging vacancy of Trails Manager is available on a one year contract. Annual salary: (R96 000 – R120 000).
CLOSING DATE: 8 March 2016
Key Performance areas include:
Implementation of the trails heritage route project plan as contractually defined
Marketing of the CWCBR Trails Product in social and printed media
Guiding and coordination of bookings and trail guides
Liaison with relevant landowners and service providers for constant product development
Executing any trails related tasks as required by CWCBR management
Budgeting and monthly reporting
Minimum Requirements:
FGASA endorsed guiding qualification, valid driver’s license and PDP
Minimum of 1 year guiding experience and must be registered with DEAT as a Field Guide
Minimum of 2 years project management experience
Marketing experience is essential
Strong administrative, human resources, and conflict resolution skills
Well-developed computer skills
Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is essential
Local knowledge of Cape West Coast biodiversity and culture will be beneficial
