Cabinetworks has been building custom designed contemporary furniture and specialised kitchens since 1994. Over the years we have progressively moved towards working exclusively in sustainable hardwoods, which is why it was only natural that, in 2005, when we discovered solid bamboo furniture boards we not only incorporated the new medium into our design but have adopted it as an integral part of our brand essence..

In a time of rapidly depleting natural resources and relentlessly continuing damage to the earth, there are a myriad of changes we can make in our lives to lessen our impact/ consumption levels. From recycling, to grey water systems, to composting your waste, to simply turning the lights off when you-re not in a room, we each draw our own lines and find the solutions that work within the framework of our varying lifestyles.
