Solar Water Heating - 4 June 2007

Solar water heating is, in most sunny countries, a more cost-effective means of heating water than just using electricity. While SWH system capital costs are higher than a conventional electrical water heating geyser/cylinder, operation costs are vastly reduced because very little electricity or other energy source is necessary to heat the water, and thus capital costs are recovered over several years through such savings.
