Cormac Cullinan commended in new book - 5 March 2008

We would like to add our congratulations to one of The Enviropaedia’s leading Authors - Mr Cormac Cullinan - as he has been included in a new book, Planet Savers: 301 Extraordinary Environmentalists, as one of the 301 people in history to be commended for their important role in saving and conserving the environment and promoting sustainable governance.

Other extraordinary environmentalists acknowledged in the book are Wangari Maathai, Al Gore, Richard Leakey, Robert F Kennedy Jr and George Monbiot. The book is highly praised by various people from all over the globe; we attach an extract from the publisher’s website below.

There has never been a more urgent need for environmental leadership. This fascinating compendium of the good and great, the famous and the unjustly forgotten, shows that individuals can change the world for the better. This is a book to inspire, a potent record of heroes from all cultures and backgrounds, and above all it is a petition, galvanising us to greater action.
